In the mid-'90s, Jonathan discovered his passion for Deep House through bands like Orbital and The Future Sound Of London, thanks to the national radioshow P3 Dans. Inspired, he recorded his first demo, which earned him the title of demo of the week on P3. Performing live at parties connected him with Johan Bacto, label manager of PlackTown Sounds, who released Jonathan's initial records alongside artists like Aril Brikha and Henrik B. From 1996 to 2002, Jonathan released over 12 EPs of instrumental Deep House under his alias "Ronin."
